I cleaned up my Hunter Pro yesterday and took some of my best pellets to my 25yd range.
Being on a PCP kick I had not shot this gun years. It did not shoot very good at first. A lot of it was me as I'm rusty with what a springer demands. In the end I Forgot how nice this gun is.
I tried a couple of Beeman's best H&N pellets, Gamos own new TS-10 and finally Gamo Hunter domes. not he Hunter Pro pellets.

Oddly enough the perfect shaped higher priced pellets could not group as well as the cheap Hunter pellets.
I went back and forth after discovering the Hunters to make sure it actually shot tighter and it does. :o
It was a lot of fun to watch the gun hit so close to what I was aiming at, when I didn't flinch that is.

Made in Spain I've forgot who made this for Gamo. I do remember tearing her down and doing a lot of cleaning polishing, shimming and honing with good end results to smooth-en her out.
I just can't get over the fact that it shoots better with cheap pellets.

I have several springers that love the Gamo Hunters pellet's along with my Crosman M417. The Gamo Hunters are also a great hunting pellet of your shooter likes em. Ed

Well this is interesting, Got my first springer last Dec. (Gamo Hornet) and I bought a small tin of those. Of course I was new to the artillery hold and springers and figured the pellets were the issue. This was before lok-tite was used on it.
I have about 10-15 Hunter .177 left, might have to revisit them today.
That's great that a cheap pellet works good with your gun and thanks for sharing.

About 2 years back, I had a Gamo Big Cat that would shoot 1/2 inch groups with the Gamo Hunters. Sure, Gamo had accuracy nailed with that rifle, but not durability.  :(

My Benjamin 397 loves the Gamo Hunters and I can get 2 tins of 250 locally for under $7.

My MM tuned AR2078 loved the Gamo Hunters.  It would put them in the same hole at 9yds.
