The 10% off at Air Gun Depot finally pushed me over the edge. 20 guns aren't enough I NEED one more. This will be my first .25 but I have drooled over the picture since they were released.
Now the waiting game starts and that not worthy.

You have my sympathy, I know only too well how the "waiting" eats away at you, especially when you're a guy like me, with absolutely no patience at all when it comes to this sort of thing. I give'em 24 hrs then make with the telephone and begin to chase it up - hahahahaha... I'm sure the local courier companies hate my guts...
I have a Webley Dominator which is the same thing as the Hatsan 155 Torpedo, although mine is in .177. Boy talk about a powerhouse... I would have got a .22 but they only had .177 at the time and at that very special price. Locally here in New Zealand, they were selling at up to $600 NZ at one point, then hard times set in (about 3 years ago) and the price tumbled. I eventually bought mine for $300 NZ, yeah, half price...!!! Then they went back up and eventually settled on about $500 - $525... Now they appear to be sold out and I haven't seen one for sale (at least not brand new anyway) for the past handful or months or so...
I didn't realize you could get them in .25... Oh boy, you'll enjoy that. I have a couple of Webley Patriots in .25 cal - one a Turkish and the other a genuine English one, and they are power plus, man, "Power Plus" for a spring job... I hurt my shoulder last year and haven't even been able to cock either of them since but I am sure your 155 has the same, or at least similar, innards as the Turkisk Patriot has and it will put a smile on your face for sure. it is a big rifle and requires some effort to cock and hold but lord help any poor critter that gets in the way of a pellet that came from that barrel... It's a gonner...
Make sure you keep us updated on your journey into the .25 springer zone - OK...!!!

The Torpedo is one awesome looking gun. I'm curious as to how people like that bolt loading feature they have. I think it's a great idea as long as they don't lose and pressure in that area. I saw that Hatsan also has a flip open breech for loading on the Dominators I think it is, theres a few photos of that gun with walnut stock that looks great. If my new 135 works out and is a hard hitter, I'd like to get a 155 Torpedo in .22 cal just to have one. They are one awesome looking gun in my opinion.

Just got confirmation that it is arriving today. WOOHOOO. I am stoked.

Received the gun yesterday and boy is it a beast. Overall appearance of the gun is just stunning. The walnut stock is nicely figured and the bluing is nice and deep. The brass accents really make the gun pop visually. The stock shape looks to be wide and clunky until you shoulder it. It fills the hands nicely and is actually balanced very nicely.
Then comes the cocking. This thing is a monster to cock. I like to think of myself as a big strong guy but this gun challenges that. I will definitely need to fire 5 - 10 rounds a a night just to stay in shape.
The power is incredible. I was shooting cheap soft pellets from Mike Melick and at 10 yards it was burying them 1" deep in a solid brown maple lumber. It definitely gives you a stupid little grin after the fact.
This one will take some time to dial it in but I do believe I am hooked.
