Aaah walnut thats what the wood was I used in my Spearchucker project looks the same as yours.
Hey can you post a pic of that Radial saw set up you have. Do you have a drill mounted to it?

Zip, it is a Craftsman 10" with a drill chuck opp. the blade side. That is a 1" HSS cutter in the chuck in the first pic. Work great. Just had to take my time. Craig

It is a little heaver, but I don't hunt so no problem.

Underrated thread for all your hard work. I like the look -- Amazing what one can do with wood on a gun stock.

Hey guy's. I am going to rework the stock a little,and I would like to put a bi-pod on this stock. Any suggestion?? Craig

I'm sure it is set up properly for your hand, but it appears to me that it is a long reach from the thumb hole to the trigger.
It is a good-looking stock!! Nice work.
