So today I went to the FedEx store to pick up my Titan that FedEx decided that they didn't want to ship Saturday because a big and beautiful great Pyrenees was sleeping on my porch. So they left a sticker on my fence saying yada yada blah blah.
Anyways, first impressions were OK, but not good. The Titan had managed to break through the clam package and the stock was roughed up by the sharp plastic. The breech was not machined well and there were a few shavings near it. Looked down the barrel and it was dirty. I ran 3 patches of paper towel down with Remington Oil and weed wacker.
Now on to the gun itself. It looks very nice and the stock is decent looking. Now for the scope and its mounts. The 2 piece mounts are absolute &^^&. They don't even fit around the compression tube and they expect you to hand tighten them on to the dove tail mounts. The scope itself is very nice and has a clear picture view.
Shot the gun about 10 times and the trigger pull is actually pretty enjoyable. This is my first Crosman springer / NP and I can let you know the trigger isn't that bad. The pull is lengthy, but smooth and the second stage is kinda long. I like the trigger cause it's much better than the trigger on my Stoeger. That trigger is complete &^^& now that I've tried this.
Now for the action / noise. The action is very very smooth, recoil is swift and not really noticeable. The noise is very quiet. Just a tad bit louder than my Stoeger X20s.
I had trouble sighting in the scope so later after this i'm going to switch out the scope mounts for the ones on my Walther Falcon Hunter's broken scope.
Stay tuned and I should have pictures later today or tomorrow.

More info. So I went out and attempted to put on the scope rings from the WFH. I was able to, but in the process I ended up stripping 3 out of the 6 screws.... Because they are now stripped I wasn't able to fully tighten them.
It took me a while to get the groups on paper at 18 yards and it's still breaking in i guess. Groups aren't too good at the moment and so far the artillery hold hasn't really helped. I'll have to get some scope rings from Walmart this weekend.
The cocking effort feels the same as my Stoeger X20s .22, which shocked me a bit. Power is the same. They both stick .22 CPHPs in a chunk of pecan wood the same. It must be shooting about 700 fps right now. No dieseling that I see so far. Shot maybe 50 shots today.
I now know why people hate the trigger so much. The trigger pull is SO LENGHTY. It seems like you are pulling forever! The pull weight isn't bad, just the length of the trigger pull... I should have a GRT III coming in this week or next week.
Things look promising so far, as long as i can get better scope rings. My Stoeger X20s .22 started out with odd groups and now shoots cloverleafs at 15 yards.

So my Dad came home... asked if I got my package I said yes. He sees the gun on a chair. He says what is that. I say it's an airgun. He then starts to begin to say "what tha fudge" then catches himself and then says why do you need so many? I say because it was on sale and I wanted it. I win and he goes upstairs to shower. :D

Thanks a bunch for that GRT trigger man! Yeah non airgunners don't understand the intricacies of owning multiple airguns.
