Title: my new disco
Post by: benjamindisco22 on March 25, 2012, 11:53:23 PM
Hey guys heres my new disco. And let me just say i love this thing. After doing the 3 skrew trigger mod, replacing the trigger spring, adding some small brass washers and installing a second barrel band. Then putting on a bipod a n d a leapers 13-12x44 ao swat scope with the illuminated mildot reticle. I am seriously in love. I still need to do some longer range shooting with it but the things great. What do you guys think how does she look? Give me some input on your thoughts. Thanks.

looks good and the disco can handle long range shots if you do ur part on it..

if ur shooting and neighbores close by or ur in the city limit i would invest in a tko 6.5 ldc. it cuts the noise pollution by a good 75% to 85% and for 44 bucks shipped it goes hand in hand with the disco

Looks great. I just got my disco Thursday. It is a good shooter. I love mine too. Although I need a better scope.

Sweet
Mine is coming this week. Already order the TKO 6.5.
Now, how can I make the trigger act like a GTR III?

You can find a ton of threads on the 3 sktew trigger mod. The best thread about it is on airgun one if you google benjamin discovery trigger od and click on the airgunone forum and scroll down theres explanations pictures and links to all the parts needed. I would highly recomend doing it. And about the tko i dont think its really needed for my use i live on 10 acres of woods with no neighbors but may eventually get one for hunting uses. I have a question though does it reduce your speed at all. Keep the posts coming.

Its looking pretty sweet to me! Only thing you need now is a smokin hot red head in next to nothing laying behind it on the pool table. Congrats on the shooter and cant wait to see your long range success with it.

She's looking good !  You did the one thing that I would change on mine, a SWAT scope . Good job.....8)

Congrats

The TKO on my Disco does not seem to change the speed of my shots much.
But what it does do is change my point of impact a small amount.  I just re-zero and leave it on now.
One other Quirky thing it does is that with the TKO on,  Crosman Premiers are my Disco's most accurate pellet.
With the TKO off,  the JSB 15.9's and 18.1's are most accurate out of her.
I have no Idea why.  It is just the way it is.

Have Fun

JT make sure it's not clipping the pellets . It tellyou in the paper work that comes with it if it does loosen the set screws and turn it 1/4 turn . Just a thought, check to see .........:)

Nice Idea William, Thanks.  I will try that out next time out with her.

to check for clipping pellets its easy, steady the gun and reach up and grab the tko then shoot a pellet.. you should not feel anything, its been awhile since ive checked one myself but i dont remember even feeling anything from the air in the shot when i grabbed the tko..

Looks great with scope and bipod. As far as speed change with the tko I have not noticed any.

Mine likes the CPHP pellets also.
