Title: Destroyer or EX?

Can't get the old forum to come up and want to know if the Crosman Destroyer or the Destroyer EX is the one to stay away from. WalMart has the EX for $2 a tin near us. If they are the good ones I will get a bunch.

The EX is the new one no one like's much,they do just do so so in my gun's,not real bad,just not great, an seem's like alot of flyer's(loose fit)?

I've been buying the regular, original, Destroyers at Dick's sporting goods, but they want double what Wally wants for the EX. I may have to try the EX ones and see how they do in my Destroyer-loving guns.

I have never tried the old Destroyers but the new ones to fit loosely, *(&^ some of them fell back out of my storm after trying to close the barrel to load it, that's how loose some of them fit.

I have been using destroyers in my QB78 and AR2078 rifles.  I bought 5 tins at Wally World for 10.00 and have no regrets.  Going to get some more at that price.  Go for it.  AIRGUNNER

The first destroyers i bought were great  then i bought the ex and they fit loose  , i got more  than the occasional flyer.  thanks david

I just bought all of them at a local Walmart. :D  It doesn't matter when I'm just plinking.  Heck I use Daisy Wadcutters for goofing off.

 My 397 seems to like the EX's just fine. It shoots Crosman wadcutters just slightly better but for informal plinking or paper punching you can't beat the price.

lol I have a gun or two that preferrs the daisy premium wadcutters over anything else... I like em(seem to work really well out of the lower speed guns... ~700 fps or less)

my rs2 seems to like the EX's  they seem to smack a target pretty hard too (cut nice clean holes in paper too prolly a good candidsate for 10 meter shoots

My modified 1377 & QB79 shoots them really well. When i first tried it on my 1377 with 10 pumps @ 10 mtrs, I had to double check the paper target to see if if the 2nd shoot did hit it..found out it double stacked. I had to go back and got all they had. I got now 25 tins of EX.
