I found this old J C Higgins Pistol in the draw today. It's a Co2 gun(cal22) and I'm pretty sure it leaked air where the Co2 cartridge goes in. Does anybody know what size or kind of O-ring I need? I like to get it fixed and try it out. Pictures are worth a 1k words.
Thanks in advance. ;)

Thanks John, I'll do that, it's just a whim but It might be fun to shoot.

That's a Hahn 45. Were later made by Crosman. Hahn was a relative of Crosman. I just had one repaired. They are worth about $200 now and worth repairing.
Bodey, Hugh E-mail Address(es): aanh@frontiernet.net , repairs them by replacing the whole valve with modern valve. Send him an email if you want it repaired by someone.
They shoot quite nice and are pretty accurate around 15 yards. When they don't leak it will have about 35 good shots. You can Google Hahn 45 and get allot of information on it....

Good news, thanks Frank ;D

Actually that is not a Hahn 45. I have 2 of those and 2 of these and some other similar crosman six shooters. Those are the sears version of the SA6. hahn 45 is bb. Hugh is a genuinely good guy and will fix you up. His valves are the valves that come from the later Peacemaker/frontier models of the pistols.
P.Y. Hahn was actually the president of Crosman when he made the Hahn "45" and the super repeater.
Tho $200 is a big stretch imo, they are fun to shoot. accuracy isn't very good typically as the rifling is not very good to say the least.:D

Yea it's a SA-6, I looked into it after seeing some replies. I shot this gun a couple of times when I was a kid, it wan't all that special. It leaked at the gas tube neck and didn't really shoot hard at all. Like I said I found it in an old gun cabinet and wanted to fix it.
Thanks for the info, I'll try a couple of o-rings and see if it will come around.
