Bob, I too bought a Titan only to return it a week later. I then ordered a .22 NPSS and it has been a real pleasure to shoot. Very accurate with good power. I think you made a wise decision.

Bob-
Perry is right. I think it's a major upgrade. Actually..... gonna get some flak here..I think the nitro-piston has made most spring guns obsolete. I'm even contemplating telling PA to cancel my TX 200 o back order.

Good for you, Bob!
The one thing I can recommend to you is to replace the nylon washers on the barrel pivot with brass.
There is a post in another thread about that, and it explains the rationale better and the method of installing them.
Chortdraw is the guy who thought it up, I believe.
Just located the thread.

This idea started a long time ago and there has been several write ups about what the difference was afterward. I thought these guys are good at upgrading and their reports are all +1 so I gave it a try. They were right. You will really like your NPSS. Just remember it needs to have some break in time and if yours is like mine it shoots several pellets well but each to their own POI. The CPHP hollow point seems to be a good choice. Mine sure likes them and they are less expensive.  Have fun!!
