Title: walmart 4x16 centerpoint on HW77

Has anyone used the walmart 4x16 centerpoint on their HW 77.  Its a touch long, but not an issue loading the gun.
I wonder how well the scope will hold up.

that scope held up fine on my crosman phantom,beeman sportsman,2 stoeger x10's.
sadly my falcom hunter 25 killed it....still holds sight value,but the elevation spool got thrown off.
have to insert the spool to adjust.

was the failure the old or the new style centerpoint 4-16x40ao.  new style has screw off caps over the turrets, old style has the locking ring to lock adjustments

old style.
i think my scope was a factory defect,has a brass ring that screws in the scope,this ring holds the turret system.
after being screwed in,epoxy is applied to hold everything from backing out.
the ring was only catching 1.5 threads....those threads got ripped clean out.

CenterPoint has a lifetime warranty for stuff like that

I bet they send a replacement instead of REPAIR

they will.  Crosman just sent me a new scope.  Very good CS.
