watched him cross the neighbors yard, hop, hop, jump, run, crossed into my yard, made the mistake of stopping on the base of a tree 45 yards away, set the fine crosshair with a dot on the shoulder, sent the 25 caliber pellet on its way, the talon tuned 25 marauder is the best money i have spent so far.....the round patch under his chin is the pellet , must of went thru his shoulder bounched around and wound up back on the same side, never knew what hit him....

We have a problem woth ground squirells here in southern california, and it never gets old man! I can nearly go through a tin of pellets (250) in my .22mrod several days a week and the population never seems to thin out. I love ranging those suckers out past 70 or 80 yards and sending lead through their skulls. Just like you said, they never know what hit em, and the best is when their buddies see them go down, they all run over to check on their brother. Meanwhile im putting croshairs on them too. Haha, good stuff man, what did you whack 'em with?
