Anyone know if there are any iron sights available that could be installed on a Remington 22 NPSS? Thanks, Ed

That gun is a seriois shooter, why? Got mine down to 2 fps standard deviation, and delivering 16 fpe into .30" groups at 30 yards. To open sight it would be sacrilage, lol ;D

Im fairly certain there are not any iron sights specifically for that gun but what you would have to do is glue a front sight onto the shroud and that is a tough one because you have to make sure everything is perfectly straight if you want to do it right. Most of the time, guns that don't come with open sights come that way because you get more out of them by using a scope. But hey, if you want open sights there is always a way

if thats the case mount a 1 or 2 power scope on it or a red dot or something. it will be way less hassle to do all the custom iron site work if you are looking for quick target acquisition

I made a casual inquiry to my local gunsmith...$225 to do iron sights. They're be perfect, but still. Red dot cost a whole *(&^ of a lot less.

Can anyone steer me toward info on a red dot sight that could be put on the NPSS? I don't know anything about them, never seen one. Does the red dot show up OK out in bright sun? I'm not dead set on replacing the scope, but want to look at any options. I guess the only thing is it seems that the scoped gun seems a little delicate to me, I've only had iron sights on any guns I've had before, (no airguns) Ed
