Title: Disco bullpup

Has anyone done a Disco bullpup?  I think I would like to build one to look like an Edgun.  Any Ideas or suggestions?  What wood should I use?  I want to get started right away!  Thanks guys.

I did build one yes.  I used a piece of scrap wood and it came out ok.

Awesome necro. The disco bullpup is on my to-do list also. But I'm thinking sheet steel/aluminum. I have all the tools and skills to make one from wood but I want to learn a new skill set.

I used a scrap piece of 2x6  Most likely pine.  Wanted to have little to no money invested till I new I could build one.

Like what you did on the stock.  Did you use mostly hand tools or a milling machine of some sort?

I used a circular saw to inlet it, I used a jig saw, I used power sanders, and I used files.  Also I used alot of filler made from superglue and sawdust.  hahaha  Pretty crummy really.  But covered in truck bed liner one would never know.  Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm  If you or someone wants the stock I would gladly give it away but you or who ever would need to cover shipping.

If having basic hand tools like a drill or even better yet a pneumatic die grinder this might come in handy for inletting.

Bullpup and disco not a good combination?

The biggest problem I foresee is the bolt popping open while shooting.  Happens once in a while and I suppose with the bullpup's ergonomics it might cause one's heart to skip a few beats....

Seems like a good combo to me.  I just got bored of it and did something else.
