Title: Shooting benches..........
Post by: mtsheron70 on February 14, 2012, 11:11:28 AM
Not sure how many here shoot from portable benches but I got tired of pulling out tables and chairs and decided a few dollars could cure this issue for sure.  That being said I found a sweet deal to pass along to folks contemplating buying a portable shooting bench.

I looked high and low and on every avenue for a decent portable bench with decent features.  I found this one at a retailer for about $50 cheaper than even E-Bay!  Usually I can find all kinds of deals on E-Bay but this was a deal to me for sure.

$99 then for me to NC was like $17 shipping.  Got great reviews too!

Just a thought if anyone ever was in the market.  This darn thing even swivels like a turret on a battleship!  Ohhh, I don't work for this company and never heard of them until I kept searching the net.  Just found them to be the cheapest and in STOCK!

Sweet! I like that leg set up, and that it doesn't look like a repurposed ironing board.

A couple of questions. What is the height of the table top when its set up and how small does it pack up?

The table top height from the lowest seat setting is 15.75" and as far as from the ground................well, I didn't measure that.  It folds up with the taking out of a few pins then folds up to lean against a wall.  Still rather large somewhat and maybe 40 lbs. in weight.  Hope this helps.

Thanks for the dimensions. Just trying to figure out if it will work on the back porch to aim over the railing (which is 36" high).

Just measured it.................35.25" from the floor.  So if you use a bag to rest your gun on then you should have enough clearance.

Guys there is a vidio and plans for a portable bench in the Announcement Gate. Right now it is the last post on the first page. The best copy of the plans is on the second page of that post. I have made four of these and they work great.
