If I'm not mistaken, a trigger guard from an R1/HW80 can be fitted on the FWB Sporters. Nice rifle. The ag gods were deffinatly in your favor with that find!!!! Cant wait to read some follow up posts after you get her cleaned up and re worked. You are in for a real treat. ;)

will be ordering parts later next week.Coated a couple pb for trade with this gun with a friend of mine.Yes its nice that everything on it is METAL and no plastice!
-
You got your hands on a nice one there. By the looks of the serial number you got my early San Anslmo beat by about 100. ;). That's the first Beeman address and Places the guns manufacture to the earlier '70s. The only plastic on mine is the trigger but it's a nice feeling one so it doesn't bother me. It has a very predictable end of the first stage.
Get that old gal some minor restoration and you'll have one nice classic with lots of character.

Congrats on the new shooter! Always noce when a little hard work pays off with a nice gun like that.

Is that the manufacture date?
