Should be three screws, two in the forearm and one in the trigger guard. When I first took the stock off my Panther , the action was in there "reeaall tight". It took a couple of good smacks to get it free.

So there is only 3 screws. How did you knock the gun out of the stock? I though something was still atttached because its so tight in the still. Thanks for the help.

With the wood stock, there are 4 screws.
2 in the forearm and 2 at the trigger guard, 1 of the screws at the trigger guard screws into a nut on the trigger housing the other just screws the trigger guard to the stock.

Oh. I see. Looks like i just need to knock it out of there somehow. I can't believe it's so tight in there, I would have sworn there was another screw or something. Thanks Guys, Kit will be here tommorow.
