I know we're always looking for fun, cheap targets. I just got back from the thrift store and grabbed a bag of clothes pins. These actually have rounds, flat heads, so they look like little people. I figure to use some left over paint on their "heads", or even a marker.
I have alos been saving toilet rolls. If you run a stick or a pencil through them, the should spin pretty well when hit. Maybe fill them with some paper to help hold their shape at least one session.

Toilet paper rolls? That's a good idea. Our family uses a lot of that.

Got to love toilet roll spinners!!

Other than paper, I shoot little green army men, balloons, soda cans, golf balls, crab apples on the tree, pennies stood on their ends, empty shotgun shells, & old duck decoys(floaters).
Just a few of my distractions.

You guys are bringin' back memories. One of the more unique targets I've shot at was when waaaaaaaaaay back when I was in high school I came across some beer bottles, full. Now, most NORMAL high school kids would have drunk the beer, but I happened to have my daisy pneumatic rifle with me. So I took a bottle, shook, shook ,shoooooook it, then shook it some more. Then I pumped up that daisy the max 10x - pop BOOOOM!!!!!
Not recommended for the kiddies, but I figure I'm past the statute of limitations by now. Funny thing is it turns out I knew the kid who owned the beer. Next day when I ran into him and told him about the fun - "You shot all my beer, don't do that again."
