I have one of these. Its the same quality as leapers and has stood up to a springer for about 250 shots so far. Mil dots and a one piece mount as well

You can try a Ncstar some people have said good things about them. No AO the last time I checked that were airgun rated. You need to go to there website and check which models are airgun rated. I think I remember seeing some airgun scope reviews on the Ncstar on youtube.
I kind of remember someone had saw a good deal at Walmart.

i have a CenterPoint 3-9X32 AO, Dicks' has them for 39.99

I have more than a dozen of the leapers 3x9x32 AO scope from opticsplanet.com and I love them. They are one of my favorite scopes.

While the Leapers scope is a good one, I can't, for the life of me, understand why suppliers send them out with the flip-open lens caps. Any scope with an adjustable eyepiece and/or an adjustable objective will require rotation of one end of the scope or the other and the lens caps either get in the way of that movement or have to be removed and then replaced after each movement. It seems really ridiculous to me that standard lens caps, connected with elastic bands and removed at the beginning of any shooting and replaced after shooting is done, are not sent instead of the flip-open lens caps. For scopes without any adjustable lenses, flip-open caps are great; for any scope with adjustable lenses, they seem to me to be nothing more than nuisances.

Or, check the Rex scopes at Flying Dragon. Not much info there, but great pricing on AG rated scopes. Rex details here: http://www.rexoptics.com/ (http://www.rexoptics.com/)

I'll second the Rex from Flying Dragon.....
My first b-25 from them had one in the combo. Mike's mounts are surprisingly good too--held up to that b-25 recoil, then thru a TF 99 for awhile, then back on the B-25....
Good scopes for the money. Mike is good to deal with.
God bless,
Farmer

I just ordered the REX 3-9x40AO for $65 From Flying dragon. Based on Good reviews..
But BTW this is the last cheap scope I'm going to try. I have a pile of hard to see through scopes I've taken off of guns N-star being one of them, Baraska and even some BSA's Eye relief is so sensitive they all seem to black out or fringe unless you hold them perfect.

TPATNER, your the Only other poster about this good line of scopes!!! I got the 3-9x42mm compact model about 4 years ago, and it's been a great little (Only 9" Long!)scope. Costs the same today as it did then. It's on my CFX for a lightweight Hunter. Definitely Worth a Look ! Here's the Link to Apple Harbor, it's where I bought mine from. They also have added a fixed 5x42 compact that's the same length. Free S/H.

I am sure Mike Melick wouldn't sell a scope that is not air gun rated. But check with him on the type of reticle the scope has.
