After waiting patiently for near 2 months getting my FWB 124 rebuilt by Mac-1 using a Maccari seal/spring set finally get some hard numbers shooting over my just acquired BETA Shooting Chrony. Had the rifle back @ 2weeks now and put maybe 50 shots threw the old girl. In that short time it seems to have settled down quite well and shooting accurate as it ever had these past 25+ years. Today got some hard numbers ;)
Shooting RWS "Diabolo Basic" 7 gr = 862 FPS average over 10 shots.
The JSB exact 8.4's = 787 FPS for 10 shots.
These shots taken while continuing my insane fascination at hitting oak tree accorns set up on end at 50 yards !! .... What a hoot actually hitting 2 out of 3 shots taken.

You've got a great new tool now with that Beta Chrony. I'm sure you are going to get a lot of use out of it. ;D Your numbers look pretty good and about what to expect with the Maccari kit. That accuracy at 50 yards though is what is really important. Nice shooting there for sure.
Too bad you didn't have the chrony to test velocity pre-tune to compare. No big deal though. You've now got a very capable gun there.

Ahhhh, the beauty of the FWB Sporters!! Tweek the trigger some and it is an unsurpassable springer in accuracy, satisfaction, and just plain mo fun to shoot. :)
