Got this from an uncle last week, an old Haenel 810 with 6 shot magazine but without bolt handle:

Apparently there have been a bunch of 310's misstamped as 810's :o
Took the stock off and gave it a good external clean, was quite rusty and dirty.
Used a punch to cock and test shoot and it still is in working order.
Ordered a replacement oem bolt handle + pin to fit it and a tin of .173 cal copper plated lead balls from a company in Germany:

Tested it using a punch to cock and lock: 400 fps after oiling the seal, only had 5 of these copper plated lead balls left, should be able to shoot abt 425 fps ;D
Meanwhile cleaned the stock, waxed and polished it and it's looking a lot nicer compared to when my uncle saved it from his neighbors dumpster, his neighbor was happy it would be fixed by a new owner.
Blueing is poor, rust has been removed, stock has quite a few scratches and a chip off at the rear but overall not bad for an oldie.
Hope the spares will be delivered soon.
Owned a similar Anschutz rifle in the past, very fun rifles to shoot.
Glad I could post in the German gate!

Sorry can only shoot 5 meters at the moment, to many living creatures downstairs and outside impossible:

6 shots @ 5 meter / bag rested

OK not so bad, waaay better than steel BB shot!

Brutuz: Those guns were made IN Suhl, it's a pretty famous region for gun works with Zella-Mehlis just north of it, which is FWB country among others.
-
That's correct, typo by someone who has been a dispatcher in that region *oops*
Have been shooting these rifles for quite some time ;D

Now those pics are cool!
Ya, and I like reading abouit the FWBs and Haenel histories, pre-WWII, post WWII, East vs West and then, the Wall comes down and Suhl is just..in Germany! No wonder the locals went crazy with freedom for the first year!
