Who is your favorite supplier when you need all the airgun things you cant live without? Where do you look first, and why? Is it because of price, service, items always in stock, quick ship, established account? Is your favorite PA, Airguns of Arizona, Straight Shooters, or ...... ?
I'm new to this game and looking for one source that I can got to for all my needs. All comments, discussion appreciated.

I start at AOA. Friendly service and great prices. For Pellets I start with PA buy 3 get 1 free is just a great deal and shipping is fast. I have also used straightshooters like AOA just good people to deal with
For most supplies I will go to PA for prices ,coupons, and fast service.
On bigger buys like airguns I try to use the smaller guys. ;D

PA (online), Wal-Mart (in-store), Cabellas/Bass Pro (in-store)

I use pa. Everything I have ordered so far has been cheaper there. Selection is also better than aoa. If you have a bps or cabelas they have great prices in store sometimes that are not avaiable on line.
Pa has fast shipping and great deals. U can usually get coupon codes from people on here for 10% off.

Yes, the deal on pellets at PA is great. I tried to place an order for pellets with them this AM. Couldnt get a promo code to work; I tried "nra pyramid", "pyramid nra" and "summer 2010". None of these worked, so I called them to find out what they were using now. The girl didnt give me a code, but took the order over the phone and gave me 10% off, plus the "4 for 3" deal! Great service with no hassle.

Pyramyd for my stuff. But I recently ordered some high end guns from Straight Shooters and am extremely happy with them.
Just sent my Izzy 46M back to PA for repairs. First time with a problem, I'll see how they handle it.
Bought a Crosman G1 Extreme from Dicks Sporting Goods and just today bought a Remington Vantage 1200 (on sale for $99) from Dicks.

Varity might be the only thing that makes me order from other places. Just went to aoa site and they have a rws 470 and holy &^^& it is bad! Haven't seen it before.

You may have entered the code wrong when you tried it, its "NRA-pyramyd"

I used PA for my RS3 and 850 and I get my pellets there, no problems yet.

Can't beat PA for pellets but ag i'll ck. serveral dealers for the best price.
got my 953 for PA HAD THE BEST PRICE.
I just ordered yesterday a crosman 357 which was $9 cheaper than PA from another dealer.
i always ck.PA first. i wish they would meet a competitors price. i wrote them an they replied they will not meet another dealers lower price.

currently my favorite supplier is PA... followed very very closely by redfeather and his CFX... <_> :-D ok now i'm bragging....

Once I thought I would give a smaller place my buiseness. I chose Airgun Warehouse. :'( [ enough said ]I have used Pyramyd for all my online orders since. I have never had a problem, and the pellets were packed so well they could have thrown them from the plane over my house and they would have been fine. I will stick with them. I would however trust suggestions from the GTA family.

I go to PA first. With the free shipping on orders over 100 bucks, the "buy 4 tins, get one free" deal, or the 10% off codes, its not often that I find a better deal. However, I would like to point out a few things.
StraightShooters checks out the guns before they ship them, and I think AoA does that too. PA charges for that service. In my opinion, if you call StraightShooters on the telephone, you may be talking to someone who has a negative/short tempered attitude.
OpticsPlanet has some good deals and most orders over 29.99 ship free.
NatchezSS has some really good sales on optics and even airguns sometimes.
AoA carries some pellets that other businesses do not.
MidwayUSA has some good sales.
It takes some shopping around to get the best deal, but PA is where I start. I have not had any problems with PA over the years that I have been doing business with them.

I go to PA too.

For commodity items like pellets, PA is hard to beat. OTOH, when I bought my AA S410, I first tried through a local dealer, but he didn't return two phone calls. I then did some online research and called Straightshooters. They were very helpful, knowledgeable and I purchased the rifle through them. They were also very helpful in dealing with a warranty issue, and I was glad for their service in connection with my first purchase of a quality PCP. Some have said that one of the owners can be a bit brusque on the phone, but personalities aside, I've always received full and complete information and been satisfied with the exchange whenever I've spoken with either one of the two owners. SS gets a thumbs up from me for non-commodity items. I was also very satisfied with Airhog for providing my CF tank and all fittings and they too, were very approachable on the phone.

I have been dealing with PA for the most part. I don't think that will last. I am looking for another supplier.

I've used PA, sometimes with terrible results. It always has had to do with pricing of the guns I ordered. When I can't resolve the trouble using all means available, I email the head guy and he's always fixed my problem. That said, I don't use that route for everything I feel is wrong, only when I know I'm getting the short end. I've contacted Mr. Coughlin 3 or 4 times over the past 5 years.I do buy my pellets from PA, however. For guns, I use StraightShooters, R&L Airgun, and I have bought from PA as well. I find Kevin at StraightShooters and Randy at R&L good guys to work with.

I buy a lot from MidSouthShooters Supply (aka MSS). They have a very wide selection and prices than P/A on on cleaning/maintenance suppies (oils, jags, patches, cleaning rods, etc.), gun cases, and I even bought my RWS 850 .22 there because it was almost still a lot cheaper than P/A with their 10% off or free-shipping. MSS shipping is very reasonable although I have not ordered from them in at least 6mos as I have stocked up on more airgun stuff than I need in the last 3+ years. I have never paid more than $10-11 for a whole bunch of stuff including a hard-case. MSS used to have Beeman Kodiaks for $5.29 and a few others that I ordered but sometimes they are OOS on Beeman or other popular pellets and they don't have a wide pellet selection. P/A couldn't even beat them with the 3+1 tins.
I do order most of my pellets from P/A because I like their packaging, and have ordered mounts and other stuff from SS without issues.
If you order a lot from P/A like me, you will run into problems. I have received dented tins of pellets, incorrect pellets twice, wrong caliber loop and cleaning supplies, .20cal pellets when I don't own any .20cal guns, and 1 tin of pellets that was opened and pellets spilled everywhere. I also got .177 Phillips pellet holders when I ordered .22 & .25. This is on top of stuff I want that is always back-ordered for months. I still recommend P/A to others for their vast selection but their prices are usually higher than everyone else's, sometimes even after the 10% coupon, so I don't think they are the best around. I have never had any problems with MSS and they 've always been cheaper on everything than P/A.
-
I check around the web, and try to do business with small companies first. I almost always end up doing business with Pyramid Air. It comes down to the 4th tin free or free shipping over a hundred combined with total cost.

Added to my favorites!! I will check them out later this morning. Thanks!

PA and Cabelas for everything. ;D

I ALWAYS Look at fed tactical FIRST and FOREMOST they might have a bit less of a selection but pellets are dirt cheap, and most of their guns are 100$ or more cheaper than PA and pretty much everyone else. they may not have what you are looking for but i'd definatly check them for prices once you decide what you want to buy. If i need something quickly I use PA cause they are 45 min from my house, I recieve ordrs from them a day after i place the order!! lol
