Well I got up and it was -3 outside So I decided it was a bit too cold to Do some chrony stings with the Disco.So instead I grabbed the helmet and hopped on the snowmachine and went for a couple hours got back checked the temps and it had warmed up to 4 degrees so Game on. Out came the chrony. I finally got the power mods done and I think I am set for the needs I have
all I have to do is unscrew the power adjuster and I am back to 21 FPE for 40 shots for plinking then turn it in all the way for 12 or so power shots for hunting!
here is the string on a 2050 or there abouts PSI fill Ended at 1600 or so. using JSB 18 grains
887, 885, 887, 887, 885, 880, 880, 878, 877, 869, 863, 856 I stopped here cause all I brought out was a dozen pellets but the FPS was dropping quick I figure maybe another 2 shots or so and it would be more than I like for a string.
I will chrony next week with some EunJins and Kodiaks and I think I have Some jsb monsters, also have some Predator Bigboys at 26 grains
I think I can gain a bit more FPE with some heavier lead
Didnt get to sight it cause it was pretty chilly and my son wanted to go back in since he was cold by then ( he is 3)
So I think this string is pretty good Wish I had more of a curve but I know if I dropped down to around 25-26 FPE I can get a curve as well 20+ shots

I would say it's a very good string.
4 degrees,huh? I really miss a good winter.

this winter has really sucked have had very little cold so far only like 12 inches snow when our average is 36 by now
But there is enough snow to ride on the lake anyways!

with the power adjuster and heavy hammer spring you need to fill to 2400, should give you the same number you got for the first 8 shots up to 14 maybe 18 shots..

Well I am working on getting my Tube extender resealed that will add 6 inches to the length of the air tube and Id guess a good 8 shots or so!!

wait what ? ur using a tube extender on a disco ? you really dont need that, you should get around 16 good shots on a 2400psi fill. thats going to make the disco extremely long

Yes an extender. My shroud already runs 6 inches past muzzle this makes tube n shroud match length and also filling to 2000 i can get significantly more fills off my guppy tank
