Is it possible to swap out a .177 caliber barrel and magazine for a .22 caliber barrel if one felt the need? Would it be a simple as swapping the barrel and magazine or is it more involved? Also, has anyone tried one of those upgraded regulators for the Marauder, does it really increase shot count? Some of the data on the net has shown some really consistent shots on the crony. Lastly, does anyone know if RWS super domes .177 shoot well out of an Mrod I have several tins and would like to shoot though them before buying stock in more pellets or should i just buy some JSBs when I order my Mrod on Friday? My M-Rod also hates JSB pellets. You would be very pleased with the Beeman FTS, FTS double gold, Kodiak, and kodiak double gold Pellets. Also the H&N pellets are pretty darn good as well. Even Crosman hp's are just ok.

Here's a link to the Mrod parts list.

I wonder if Crosman makes their guns to hate JSB pellets on purpose so they can sell more Crosman ammo? Is it possible to design a bore to like 1 pellet over the other? Just curious.

You know I think it is possible for these barrels to break in after a few thousand pellets through the barrel. My Mrod use to hate JSB, so I only fed it CP/CPHP,CP,Barracudas...they all shoot great in the Marauder.
But I keep some JSB for my Disco...its favorite pellet, and every once in a while I shoot a clip through the Mrod....and it gets better and better. Today I shot the 15.8 gr and all were through the same hole @ 10 yards. when normally they use to be shot gun...sooooo I'm happy with that
P.S. I don't clean my barrel.....just lube my orings
