When is the airgun show in Roanoke VA? Is there going to be one?

It is usually held in early October.  Been meaning to go for the last two years.  The fellow who founded it died last year but his wife held the show since it is so popular.  No guarantee it will be renewed, but, as it is maybe the biggest AG show in the country, I think it is likely to continue.

That is it. Are those dates for 2012 or  were they 2011 dates? Looks like Salem(Moose Lodge) is on the West side 81. Would be real easy to get in and out of without the traffic of big cities where so many  big gunshows are held. Thanks for the info, Mark

I think those are 2012 dates since the first two entries talk about how many attended the 2011 show . . .

The second one also shows an April, 2012 date . . .

There wasn't as much there (Moose lodge) than I had seen at the civic center locations in previous years.
I DID get hooked up with a NC gunsmith who resealed a 101 for me....

Nice countryside there, though.  Just up around the hill aways is Macafee's Knob, great hiking trail.  There is lodging closeby, I can try to get info for ya sometime.

I work about 20 min from there, and live about an hour away from that Moose lodge.
Blue Ridge Parkway leads right into Roanoke, which kinda just melts into Salem around the hospital where I work.
Leaves are usually beautiful that time of year.  Valley Veiw Mall is within 35 min, and a good place for the ladies to go and spend time while you hit the show.  Couple decent campgrounds in the area.   Good restaurants.  Virginia Tech is within 1.5 hrs if you wanna catch a football game.... HTH.

God bless,

Farmer
