came across this one youtube, i think the same way these guys do. when i saw the evanix speed semi/full auto ran off a battery. my first thought was what would happen if yo upgraded the standard battery pack to a lipo pack..
well here is what happens.. almost seems to shoot twice as fast

With or without the battery upgrade, I believe Evanix has a big HIT here !
They should sell well here in the USA.
Evanix's only competion is the FX moonsoon and revo , which are ONLY semi-auto.
Evanix is FULLY AUTOMATIC PELLET RIFLE GUN!
FX only has only 1 USA exporter and only has a 3 day return policy!
OUCH!
Evanix on the other hand, has numerous exporters, and a generous , 30 day return policy!
I believe Evanix is going to sell the heck out of these fully automatics!

It worries be that once the speed catches on, it will catch the attention of some branches of our government for it having full auto abilities. But only time will tell..
Oh and fyi I wouldn't just go out and throw a bigger better battery pack in it with out doing some research first. I've been into rc stuff for many many years ranging from electric 4wd monster truck racing to flying state of the art electric 450 and 600 class 3d heli's. I know all to well what happens when you give a speed controller to much power that it was not designed to handle.. lots of smoke and if the power isn't cut fire follows the smoke.. with lipo's you never discharge them to where stuff slows down. In my heli's if a pack will give me 15 minutes of flight I set my timer for 10 minutes. Discharging lipo's down to nothing can cause it to burst in flames.. loook lipo battery pack explosions up on youtube and you will see why lipo's must be used smartly, correctly in order to be used safely

My advice.....
Grab it while you can!
i LOVE MY COUNTRY BUT FEAR MY GOVERNMENT.

IIRC that guy burnt some electronic components with higher voltage. He also broke a cocking bolt or something, don't know if that was caused by increased ROF.
-
odds are it uses the same basic setup as most rc speed controllers in theory... id assume he burnt up some mosfets which in a nut shell is where the power goes when it leaves the battery pack...
give it awhile and some one will start making a aftermarket controller for it

I believe it will sell very well, in the USA.

Mike,
In the battery world you never user the word "EXPLOSION", instead the event is referred to as "venting with flame". :) :)
Well designed products will always include a charge/discharge controller as well as fuse in the battery itself. The RC world seems to skip these safety measures and uses batteries well outside their design limits.
sorry, OT but Mikes warning is an important one.
-
The chargers in the rc world are about as good as they get for lipo charging but the issues with safety come when the pack is discharged to much and then attempted to be recharged..
Lipo's do vent with flames but they also go pop or well boom..
Point is sooner or later some one will market a upgraded "speed" controller for the evanix speed. Untill then upping the battery power in evanix speed should be done at ur own risk

The Speed would probably be legal in most states for plinking and target shooting. But when you try to use it for hunting, many States classify it a firearm, and as we know automatic firearms are not legal. Some States like New Jersey (and some cities), classify all airguns as firearms. So in that case you could not own the Speed, even if you had a firearms license, being that the Speed is capable of full-auto.
I would love to own an automatic Evanix, but unfortunately it looks like it would be illegal to hunt with it in my state. Semi-auto though sounds very intriguing :)

Hi.
There is nothing magic inside Evanix speed, it is my video on YT.
Nothing electronic in, only microswitch on trigger.
manufacturer says 12v is maximun with motor.
I´m shooted few thousand pellets with LiPo no probs, only magazines lag, before i fixed them little
