There is a guy selling brand new B 50's in .22 and .177 for $250.00 so I am thinking of getting one. What I'm wondering is what are they like to tune? I have never seen a real one before. Are these guns any good or should I pass? I have had alot of dealings with him in the past and he is A1. Thanks for any info.

I bought a new one from Mile Melick of Flyingdragon Air guns for $215.95 shipped. .22 I've been trying to tune it down and increase the shot count. Scads of fun, but it was sending 18.13 grain Jumbo Heavies down rage at 998.2FPS before I got into understanding how to properly adjust it(turned that hammer screw the wrong way). Yep. 998.2 FPS not a type-o It's a Chines clone of the older Daystate Huntsman, and is nick-named by some as the "Chuntsman". There is a collection of tuning tips out there, known as the book. A good idea to download a copy if you buy one. It's a loud baby too. Not backyard friendly without some help, like tuning it down to 600 FPS or other means.

Not the wrong gate. Hey, it's Chinese, right? But maybe better to go on over to the Dark Side - the PCP Gate! ;D
