Title: Curious about Hatsan Torpedo 155
Post by: Ricochet808 on January 14, 2012, 03:26:06 AM
I like the fixed barrel and look of the rifle. I would get it in .22cal, but I'd like to have a gas ram installed in it as the powerplant.

Any ideas on who would be my best bet for this plan?

you may be able to talk Gene into doing the conversion...

The Torpedo is what I'm looking at too, I think the 155 would be better in .25 and the 100 in .22

Now I'm a big fan of gas-rams (the UK importer has a gas-ram Mod60s) but why do you want one in your Torpedo? I only ask because I love springers.

Why not ?
when I get my Torpedo, either the 155 in .25 or the 100 in .22 I'll definatly will want it converted to Nitro Piston :)

I'm hoping someone will get one of these soon and do a good review, this gun is on my short list but there are too few current reviews and it carries a pretty steep price considering it has no scope. Most of the reviews I have found have called these guns "spring eaters" and allot of them are from countries that don't allow the full power spring..

I am very, VERY interested in the 155 and have put my name on the waiting list over at Pyramyd Air. This is going to be my first air rifle in a very long time, and I'm hoping for the best since no one seems to have much experience with it yet. I've heard very good things about Hatsan and also about the excellent accuracy of underlever rifles, so I'm looking forward to giving it a go.  ;D
