This is the carbine version in .177 the barrel is 12.5 inches long. I'm thinking the barrel was chopped at some point. It shoots like a dream, on ragged hole with jsb exacts at 15 yards in my basement. I love the carbine length, I've always hated long barrel airguns. The previous owner said it was tuned a while ago by a shop in southern Cal with jm parts (he didn't know which exact parts were replaced) it shoots with a very solid short stroke cycle. I've seen other pics of stingrays but have never seen this type of muzzle brake (it's actually threaded which is how the ported cap is attached) is this factory or after market? What years were these rifles made? Thanks in advance.

Mata777,looks like a genuine uk rifle, not sure about the barrel length but the cap looks like the genuine thing, they were sold here with a ported muzzle break fitted as standard which was a screw fit,
The very short and solid(no twang) firing cycle was a feature of Webleys "silent spring technology",i used to have an "Excel"that was the same.
You have a nice rifle there,a genuine "Made In England" job.

Thanks every one. It's a shame that these classic rifles are no longer made in the UK.
