Title: Will placing a increaseing preload on a gas ram raise fps?

      I was getting ready to add a spacer in behind the gas ram of my npss when it dawned on me someone may have insight about this.

Dont bother i tried it in 2 different npxl guns on did not gain and the other lost 14 fps. Hope it helps

The short answer is No. Gas springs typically have an initially flat load vs displacement curve, which means no increase in preload with shims. Here is a bit of useful info:
