Title: Disco with Full shroud and Riser done with 41 shot chrony string!

Ok well this project has taken longer to complete due to my wanting to torque too hard on the Stock lug and stripped it and had to wait for crosman to send me another one
But It is done and shooting very well
the specs
Benjamin Discovery in .22 cal
Scope is a Vector Raptor 4-14 x 50 Sidewheel

the Shroud is a Rpy Kasten Special  it is Full length and This thing makes the gun sound like a Gerble chewing a peanut!
The breech riser is from @@ss%% guns and is the 1/2 in I probably could have got away with their 1/4 inch riser but Better safe than sorry.
I did polish the trigger sears and also Lighted the Trigger spring
The Valve I modded my self
I am going to mess with the power adjuster tomorrow but here is the string without the Adjuster installed and the Pellets used were JSB 18 grainers
I shot it at 30 yards and Got a 10 shot ragged group using my snowmobile as a rest.
here is the string  shot at 3 feet from muzzle with a 2100 PSI fill 41 shots

thanks guys  wait til I find someone to Hack me up a barrel band  (hint hint anyone with machining skills? or a drill press)
also I have a Tube extension around 6 incher  should make barrel shroud and tube same length and also give me a few more shots per fill
just need to reseal it locktite it and install it
and then a nice custom stock and It will be a real Crowpopping Rig

Thats a nice looking diso are you planning on doing any hunting with it or mostly  target shooting?

I built this gun Just for Fox and Coon hunting
I have 3-5 Spots locally where I need to be QUIET while hunting
it isnt city limits but it is near houses and what not so quiet is essential
and let me say that Roy did and excellent job on it
I have had TKO's and LOVE them but this is quieter than a TKO it sounds like opening a can of soda!
and accuracy is AWESOME
i will be using it for Crows and all other small game but I set out for a Fox gun around 2 leather mills I have access too!

Thats a nice shot string. Looks like it still had plenty left in the tank. Good job and cant wait to see what it does after the valve mods.

sergio makes the barrel bands for shrouded disco's.. i think their 20 bucks, you can also do some searching and find barrel bands ment for shrouds on disco's... worset case find a local machine shop and give them call, explain what ur needing and tell them you can bring the rifle in to show them what you need them to make.. if its a halfway decent machine shop id bet they could have a set of barrel bands made in a day for you

just when you go to the machine shop walk in and let them know ur the rifle guy and the rifle is in ur car. i wouldnt just walk right in with the rifle in hand, id give them a heads up first..

i always do that when ive bought airguns and had to return them for whatever reason. that way no one freaks out
