i picked up new crosman t4 today.
after opening the pack,i looked over the gun thouroughly.
no visible defects, everypart moved as it should.
the t4 has a rifeled steel barrel,2-8 shot mags that hold pellets and bb's
after giving her a good look over, and dry fire function test...time to load the co2 and start shooting!
loading the co2 is a lil aggrevating at first, but after a few times it becomes easier/quicker to do.
open the rear grip lever all the way, press in the lever on the clip, slide the clip out.
install is the reverse.
intalling the rotary clip.
in the center of the clip is a magnet, the magnet keeps the bb's in the clip....but be careful, the bb's like to roll out and get stuck on the outside of the clip.
so keeping a full clip of bb's in your pockt wont work out.
the clip holds pellets firmly.
shooting the t4 is very comfortable, nice solid feel to the gun.
some of these t4's have indexing problems....my t4 has that problem.
accuracy at 10 yards wasnt great out the box,6-8 inch bb groups.
pellet groups were about 3-4 inches.
ive tried several rounds, this gun shoots everything about the same.
my pellet groups tightened down to 2-3 inch groups.
putting 4-5 pellets in a dime3-4 strays.
id got this gun as a side arm on my night pest control rounds, ill use it on the animals i dont want to kill, just scare off the property.
im getting about 50-60 shots per co2.

well that was short lived!
5 co2's deep in this thing!
she now doesnt open the door to insert/remove the clip.
after looking at crosmans exploded parts, there are 2 springs for the slide, one to keep the slide close, one to open the door.
not sure if ill pull her apart or return her and get another,or another gun all together.
just a few hours ago i returned a new gamo p80,nice shooter till on the 3rd co2 she blew a seal.
