Was wondering if any of you folks have one? Got a new one about a week ago and it sure does pop! I'm thinking my arm muscles will be getting a bit larger in the coming months. The trigger is great but i was worried because I read it was inferior to the Rekord trigger. It's set at 2 #s and thats fine by me. It's crisp with no slop and I can't say it's less good than the one on my HW77k. I'm going to hold off scoping it until the break in period is done. Fit and finish is flawless. Anything I should be aware of? ;D ;D ;D

Coooool! Welcome to the world of gas rams!!!! Very well built rifles. What caliber did you get? There are a lot of good things about the RX rifles. No messy springs to fool with, no spring compressor needed, you can shoot any weight pellet without worry of spring failure ( weakening or breakage ). For now, all you need to do is shoot it. The 'Elite' triggers are pretty good, but the newer models are not as adjustable as they once were on the older guns. Still a good trigger though. If I were you, I would go ahead and invest in the pump. Straight shooters has them for about $150. The fun thing about the Theoben designed gas ram is there ability to be adjusted for various power settings to fit the individual shooters needs. Good luck and have fun with your new shooter. Email me if you have any questions about them.

Ahab, I have a RX2 .22cal. I really like this gun. Cocking is a little stiff, but you get use to it. I am 70yrs young. Mine is hold sensitive. Enjoy it. Craig

I have owned several of these rifles.
When set to maximum pressure they are difficult to cock, destroy scopes and are inaccurate.
in .177, when pressure is reduced to shoot at 720-750fps using 8.44gr 4.53mm pellets, the accuracy and ease of use are amazing.

I boought one last year in 0.22 but I had to return it for the following reasons:
1- Big cocking effort.
2-Loud, I actully had to wear hearing protection which I do not enjoy when shooting airguns.
3-the trigger pull was very light, so many time it fired when I did not mean to. I adjusted the trigger but it kept going back to its original light pull.
4-Inaccurate after trying just about every 0.22 pellet in the market. Some sugeested that I reduce the pressure but I did not follow because I believe I paid enough money to receive a gun that would shoot right right out of the box.
I hope you will have a better luck with yours. It is a nice looking gun
