hat are the reason one would ad a longer tube to say the 2240 or are we going pcp and the 2250/60 are pcp tubes ?

I'm going hpa on my 2400kt shortly after it gets here

Ss 2250 tube
Disco fill adapter
disco gauge port
Either a disco valve or aftermarket valve

And swapping my 24inch barrel with 0351vet for his 18inch barrel

Once I order the parts I am going to make a thread about the build/conversion..

Give you a hint at what's to come 30 - 35 fpe 2400kt or get as close to 30fpe as I can... I can do that very easly with a disco... so we will see how it goes...

Oh and the reason why some one would swap tubes on a crosman pistol when they go hpa is for shot count... if you take a 2260 and go hpa you've just made a disco, but also the 2260 is designed for co2 so it might not handle the pressure from hpa

That's why I'm going to pick up a stainless steel airtube for a 2250.. they are burst rated up to 11,000psi..
Thanks again walt for the info on the tubes

The longer tubes are to switch to a bulk fill option.  No more cartridges.

if you take a 2260 and go hpa you've just made a disco
Sorry, but the tube on a Disco is over twice the air capacity of a 2260....

I agree...No argument here Bob. :)

thanks crosshairs

I am not planning PCP or bulk (at least not right away, if at all)
it was, for me, more a matter of having a tube that offered more support for a longer barrel (as well as aesthetics)

Ok I'm confused, I thought a disco was a modded 2260 and shared the same tube size and length. Well please disreguard my comment on the whole 2260 hpa being a disco..
