Title: Designed and built a Custon Shroud
Post by: Motorhead on December 09, 2011, 02:50:20 AM
Parts built of Delrin and Pressed onto barrel so unremovable without cutting off.
Shroud built from 1" O.D aluminum X 1/16" wall floats on O-rings at receiver portion & Air stripper so barrel floats within shroud.
End cap also just press fit on o-rings having NO baffles forward of stripper to end cap being @ 2 1/2" distance.

Paint on shroud is drying so will post an assembled picture at a later date.

good deal that really does look good, im considering trying to make a custom shroud for the custom shoip 2400kt.. but use mrod baffles since i cant make them. then getting a section of something from lowes and have them cut it.. but the end caps are where im running into trouble.. might as well order a mrod shroud or prod shroud
