well i got my crosman order in today and life is good. got all the parts to replace my worn barrel. i ordered a new barrel for my titan for a couple reasons, one being that the pellets drop right through the barrel and i believe this is what is causing the titan to sound like its dieseling when fired as well as causing my accuracy to have opened up to over an inch at 20 yards when it used to be sub dime size. i did a quick clean on the bore and stuck a pellet in it, nice fit in the breech. the pellet actually will sit on the barrel. the breech is that tight, slight pressure and in it goes. i pushed it through with weed eater line and lets just say it was not easy but there was good consistency all the way through the barrel. my hopes are high that this will fix my accuracy issue as well as the dieseling which has destroyed a few seals already.i did order a breech seal and a spacer and a new pin for the cocking arm as well and will change them out all at once. i should see a change in the titan fairly quickly, sound wise should be immediately. i have my fingers crossed that this will solve my issues and i can get on with shooting and having fun again........dave

It sounds like your new barrel has potential. I'm looking forward to actual shooting results out of it. I hope it turns out to restore you lost accuracy or better. Let us know how it works out!

i finally got the barrel installed on the titan and it is currently shooting great. i have shot about 100 shots and its hitting hard. i took 20 shots at my feeder target and was stacking most of them ,well look at the pic. the air rifle is now back to having a good kick and no more bang out the barrel which is what it was doing,as well as destroying seals. i'm hoping that the next 100 shots will prove my theory that it was the barrel and not something else. either way i am better off because the pellets are tight in the barrel and have consistant resistance when the barrel is slugged.

Worn barrel? Wow, how many shots do you have through it? Didn't know AG barrels wore out!

i quit counting some were in the 20000 range and ave since toosed out all but a few of the tins, i shoot nearly everyday usually around 50 shots this time of year and as many as a tin a week in the summer
