Title: Help leaking disco
Post by: ericclarkbandit on December 07, 2011, 10:27:29 AM
My disco has developed a leak from the air guage hole in the tube.  I figure it needs new o rings.  Are there better orings to use than the standard crosman ones?

I had the same problem with my prod. called crosman and they mailed new ones since gun was only 4 months old. but i did not want to wait so i went to home depot and matched the orings. its been 6 months now and still holding air. by the way i ended up with 8 spares after spending a little less than $3.00. like everyone says just use caution during install not to cut new rings on the sharp edges and use a silicon plumbers lube.****SAFETY NOTE**** DO NOT USE PETROLEUM BASED PRODUCTS AS LUBE THIS CAN CAUSE EXPLOSION the silocon lube is also at home depot or at any dive shop

Better normally indicates harder but in the case of tube sealing the softer seal is a better solution. I'd go with Crosman Parts. That way it'll still be dual fuel and it should seal up good. Lots of DC111 on orings is good. Loads from front.
