Title: Older Benjamin 392
Post by: Don.M on June 15, 2025, 06:20:21 PM
Hey there all,

I've been out of the airgun realm for a few years since my dad passed in 2021. I used to go over and snipe the dreaded chipmunks in my mom's garden as an excuse to hang out with dad, who had severe Parkinson's Disease, so he couldn't keep up with the little varmints. It gave me a few hours extra a week to spend time with him and take his mind off his issues.

When he passed, I lost the reason for the "hunts," and put the rifle away. I was looking it over the other day, and even though it's severe overkill for the striped vermin (even at 5 pumps), I thought of having it steroided.

While I found their address & phone number, there is no website. Just a phone number. I did search and found an email for Tim, but it's been kicked back twice. I haven't tried calling yet, but while searching, the last info on Tim is at least a year old...and it wasn't good. Is having it steroided or even getting the parts to try and DIY it even still possible?

I'd like to get back into it as I have well over 1,500 pellets gathering dust.

Hi Don.

From what I understand by reading here in the GTA forum, Tim, from Mac1 Airguns, is dealing with medical issues at this time.
I don't know all the details but others here do.

Best Wishes - Tom.

That's a shame, prayers for Tim
