Title: Hawthorne 130
Post by: SnoValley on December 01, 2011, 09:22:27 PM
Another Crosman 130 variant. This one is a Hawthorne M130, Montgomery Ward Co. version
22cal, hollow probe, self cocking, one piece barrel etc.
I resealed and re-blued this one and it shoots strong.
I'm experimenting with some heat shrink on the pump handle to cut down on the "clack" when pumping.

Last pic is alongside the J.C. Higgins version

"22cal, hollow probe, self cocking, one piece barrel etc."

Barrel & breech are separate parts pressed together. I use those early steel breeches on my carbine builds with 1760 & 2260 barrels.

Rear sights mounted backwards.
