My fellow air enthusiasts , I strapped on the folding stool , grabbed a Trigger stick tall bipod , gulped some H2O & hit the farm(s) after lunch. I needed a day w/
less wind to try some longer range w/ my .25 Ranger. I found some good field targets at one pasture that I ranged at 78& 82 yards, good enough! I set up my
stool & tripod in the open shed at the corner of the concrete floor w/ a nice wall to brace against. Just as I'm about to let the Hades fly I see movement at the top
of my scope view. A juvie Ghog! I ranged it at 92yrds. Sticking with my plan, I took aim at that 82 yards target( pile of bovine excrement,, or poop to some)
& let one fly. Noting the impact, I pulled the side lever & sent another for verification (shooter as much as the gun). I looked for the 'hog & there were now two!
I took aim at the closer (90 even) ,held 2.5 mils over & heard a slap! It took a roll & a couple steps, kicked a couple times then lay still. It's sibling started toward
it to investigate & I held the same & brushed the trigger of the Stoeger I hit low under it,making it hightail for the fence line where it stopped. I gave it another
stadia line & pulled ,, twack! It rolled over & over then lay still. Mission accomplished ! I put the Ranger away & pulled the Katran .22 out for the same drill. I took
a couple shots w/ the 25+gr Rifle slugs at the 78yrd target & noted the scope lines & impact. I went back to refill all the mags & top off the air w/ my hand pump
( Yeah , I have TWO compressors & I'm pumping TWO guns up in the field ::) ). After the exercise & I'm catching my wind, I check the field & see an adult 'hog
moving across the back of the pasture toward my first kills. I held a couple mils high & set the dash on the back of the head & Whapp! Tail up & bulldozing
forward under the fence to the weeds a few feet then stopping w/ the tail up for a few seconds & done. Done here , I headed over to the next farm & took 3
more juvie hogs before I got the notice from home that dinner should be starting soon. A long walk ahead of me ,so I got moving for the Toyota. A great afternoon . P.S. I popped a few HOSPs off w/ the BullShark in between fill ups.

Randall, as crazy as it sounds,I didn't take a single photo! It was a Run & Gun day( or fast limp & set up),and I left my rubber boots at the house after hauling
some yard & garden supplies. I don't traverse "muddy & ya know what :P ", barn yards in my hikers ! My large circle at the second farm field would have grown
quite a bit bigger if I went to each kill for pics. I'll have to plead for belief of actions & stand on my past record , but I was totally wore out till I got to the house
that evening, even got a bit of a lecture from the Queen about overdoing it :-[ . ( Of course my response to that was,,, Yes Dear ,,,You're Right! )
