Title: 250Z, Better than FX Crown!
Post by: BSJ on May 31, 2025, 12:22:43 PM
Shockingly, right out of the box, this thing is almost everything I ever wanted out of my Crown.

Even with a horrible leade, it's shooting better at 50 yards than my Crown(s) ever did.

Pretty tight groups at 75 yards. Terrible at 100. But the reg is still a 2000ish psi.

Fingers crossed that it will indeed be good at 100 with the reg turned up

Barra knocked the 250z out of the park! I have a DRS that is not as accurate, and in pieces ATM waiting for me to fix LOL

My Crown is in pieces too. Just so it takes up less space...
I do use its bottle, to feed the 250Z!

Correct me, please!
My recollection could be faulty

Wasn't (still is?) member @GEO SCHOONMAKER part of the Barra design team that developed the 250Z
He had a website, Airgun Universe, that was filled with innovative air gun mods and also manufactured moderators

Just asking

Edward

Yes before becoming a major player with Bara Geo was a GTA tinkerer, he had a fondness for the then Bear River brand, now Barra. He has done wonders for the brand.  8)

Thanks, James
Knowing that Geo is involved has absolutely piqued my interest in the 250Z
Maybe even the other models too

I've just emailed Barra for a list of dealers within 200 miles of No.Va
Their website does not have dealer links
I want to get hands on, not buy blind on the internet
