Sorry, I don't.  All the common carriers are like this now.

You are not their customer, as the consumer.  Sellers, who actually paid Fedex directly to deliver stuff are their customers.  (Not the buyers who paid the sellers.) They make it practically impossible to speak to humans.

I have a package shown out for delivery today...from a FEDEX location about 50 miles away..
I called my local Pack and Ship to ask if that is proper.... I was told that it just may be.

So, all this concern (maybe) for nuttin'...........

I feel your pain.  Having experienced a missing package that FedEx claimed was delivered and showed the wrong front door as the delivery address, I attempted for several frustrating days to reach a human.  No joy!  FedEx will routinly ship me packages from their Tracy warehouse to my home in Sonora: a 70 mile one-way trip.

When I worked at an office directly across from the FedEx yard, they could not deliver a package to me. I had the privilege of talking to some girl on the phone. I said I could wait at their gate for the package, she said not possible.  She said they could not access through our gate. I said UPS delivered every day by pressing a button on the speaker next to the gate and announcing who they were. She said they could not do that and the package was being returned half way across the country. Then they tried to charge me a delivery fee, lol. Good luck!

UPS did something I didn't think they were allowed to do today. We were not home when they delivered so the driver put the package in our mail box at the end of the driveway. FedEx was the ones that told me that they couldn't do that so I assumed UPS couldn't either.
However, we are on a first name basis with our regular UPS driver, Tim, and he may not do that for just anyone else.

Technically no one but a US Postal carrier is allowed to use your mail box.  But now UPS and FedEx have contracts to deliver packages for the USPS.  Not sure how that works.

Azon has a contract with USPS and all the other major carriers I think. I had packages with items bought on Azone and delivered by USPS,  ups and FedEx. In  point of fact, I bought a rather expensive  wusthof knife from them and tracking shows in USPS possession.

I've ordered things from Amazon that were initially scheduled to be delivered by USPS. At some point during the route I got a message that Amazon would now be making the delivery... and they did.
That was even after tracking showed USPS travel history.
Maybe USPS carried the package to the local Amazon facility and they delivered from there... who knows.

The local post office said they have not received a FedEx delivery in two years, so that contract may have expired. UPS stopped delivering to the local post office recently, so that contract might not have been renewed. USPS does not deliver to houses up here in the mountains, only to PO Boxes, but the others do. YMMV.

Again today UPS put a package in our mailbox. I don't have a problem with it.

Only time I have a problem is when the package is crammed into the mailbox where it's a PITA to get out. As if wasting two minutes cramming that in there is easier than just delivering to the door. ::)

I won't even describe the headaches we had our first few months out here in BFE.  USPS did alright, but nobody else.

After a few calls to several regional branches, we got UPS squared away.  Fed-Ex issues self-resolved about the same time.

I can't really talk further as it involves politics and government "efficiency".

We all have the option of deliveries to alternate locations; Grainger, UPS Store etc.  Some hardware store chains (ACE/Taylor, Southern State) will accept deliveries.  We were going to opt for that initially, but like I said, a few (16 distinct calls) got UPS squared away, which also addressed the FexEx problems.
