Title: New to the Forum

I live in central Illinois and have been shooting Daisy 880s since I was young, pest birds mainly, on our family farm.  I wish I knew to not shoot BBs through these guns then, but pellets were to expensive for us poor farmers.  I still have my original 880 but it shoots terribly so I had to buy anther 880 a few years back, I only shoot pellets through it and man is it accurate!  I recently found a Daisy 917 at a yard sell for $5!  I have parts ordered for it on Ebay from Ronno6 to get it back to shooting, time will tell how well it shoots.  I just realized he is an active member on the forum.  I am modding my current 880 and looking to buy a 901, although I can't find one in any of the surrounding stores that sell air rifles.  I called Daisy to order one and they informed me they can not ship to Illinois.  Unbelievable! 

I look forward to the forum and what I can learn from the people here.

When I lived in Illinois I hunted squirrels not far from you at Clinton lake.

Clinton Lake is great!  I hunt squirrels and bow hunt deer there, it's extremely hard to get permission around here now on private land.

 Either the PCP Dark Side or the general airgun gate, unless you have a brand in mind, then the brand specfic gates.
