Marty anchored this ghog @ 40yds with his Stoeger Ranger .25! Wonderful shot and photo!

Great 40 yard shot Marty!  You're putting a real dent in the G-Hog population!  ;D

Thanks Guys! This was #2 of 3 taken last evening. The first was taken by my friend w/ his Ruger .22 Mag. That's him holding my Ranger , he didn't want me to
lay my gun in the dirt! Both Ghogs were taken 15 min.s apart & only 30 ft from each other ,though mine appeared out of the woods 7 crossed about 50yrds
before giving me the shot. As we we approaching the barn ( or "base of operations") on returning to the vehicles, I spied another big one at 88 yards resting upon
a concrete support for a utility pole that was broken off during one of previous storms. Using the tall grass off the path as some cover we moved to about 65yrd.s
where Joe executed ( literally) a perfect headshot for a wrap. No photo ops for Joe as per his wishes. I might add, we saw several more critters as we waited for
action, and I saw a couple more crossing the farm road on my way to the " sacrificial mound" to dispose of Joe's . All told we had eyes on seven 'hogs in about
3hr.s. Good buddy time, where the pellets ,bullets & bulls&!* fly ;D !! PS, Thanks to Randall for the posting.
