Don't really know why, but a nice fire always adds something to a beautiful sunset. Seems to complete the transition from day to night.

 Must be the caveman left in me but a fire beats a tv anyday... nice shots, a most beautiful place you must live ..

Beautiful views Tommy.. But you must have missed the fire warning alerts...:) No open fires allowed in NC for the next couple months...:)

Somewhat reminds me of Maine or southern New Hampshire, ... nice pics.

Just a little slice of heaven in Western NC - a temperate rainforest.  Nothing else quite like it.
