Crosman has had to adopt Gamo's parts ordering restrictions.
All break barrel and PCP parts orders will have to go thru a Service Station or
a Gunsmith with an FFL.........
They really do NOT want owners to be tinkering inside these products......
That sux..............gonna be more work for me........
-
That's upsetting 😡
Maybe it will inject some energy into the small business sector of our hobby.
Trying to be optimistic.
-
Airgun Revisions is one of the outlets.
-
Curious to see how it'll be in Canada, Daisy parts were already somewhat not that easy to get if you don't know where to call. We had the Gravel Agency for Crosman parts, don't know how they'll do now, hope they don't change that. Good thing I'm able to make lots of the parts I need 8) .

That's very good news

So is The Tinker Shop in South Mississippi
Info on the Crosman website
-
So the protocol will be call them and order then they'll ship it to Rich at AR then he will ship it to me?
-
Yup.

I think he needs to have them in his inventory first; he can answer you best 👍

Well that’s the end of Crosman’s CS. It’s a good thing for aftermarket suppliers and a stupid thing for Crosman. Oh well they had become just another Walmart brand anyway. >:(
-
Is it only break barrel and PCP parts? Does this mean CO2 and pump gun parts will still ship as before.
-
Is there a liability issue that Gamo/Crosman does not want themselves exposed to?
If so, do the Service Stations or other intermediaries assume that exposure by reselling the parts??
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...............
-

So I was told........
-
Apparently it is a potential liability issue..........kinda what I figgered.....
I recon the Tinker Shop won't be doing resales anymore........
-
I bought Gamo springer parts for many years from Chambers in the UK since Gamo USA would not sell them here. They still list them for sale and seem to have no problem doing it. I never really understood why they could do it and Gamo USA would not. They just want you to send the gun in for repair I guess. The UK does restrict some parts from buying online though due to laws there.
-
Well if it becomes too much of a hassle I'll either 1. Wrap the gun around a tree or 2. Tear it down and sell the parts. Once again, between the tariffs and this maybe my guns will gain some value lol. I'm sure all will be well. Maybe this will fuel another aftermarket flood.
-
That's annoying, it's a slow moving train wreck over there.
I wonder about a gun like the 3622... PCP but almost all the parts are interchangeable with pumpers.
I'm also bummed they've dragged their feet on giving us good parts schematics the last 5-10 years.
-
They sent me the 3622 diagram
-
Here also
-
David,
They sent you the drawings, but can we order parts? I have a build planned that depends on some 3622 parts.
-
Thanks David! Interesting, they even add the "revision numbers" like a Smith Wesson series.
-
I would like to have the complete front sight assembly from the 1701P.
No dangers here.
I wonder if they will sell me one?
My son has an FFL, along with engineering degree and PHD in medicine.
Maybe he could get one..

IDK. But they sent me a breeches screw, no charge. That was back on 27 February. Please let us know whether you get parts.
-
I was wondering how this would play out.
-
It is my understanding that restrictions apply to internal components,
break barrels and PCP
-
This is annoying, disgusting, irritating, disturbing, and etc.
The end of Crosman as we knew it.

Yeah, I'm bummed about the whole deal. If they won't sell me parts in any way, I'll buy a 3622. The only part I really don’t want to make is the fill plug/tube plug. Oh well, I can make do, I just don't want to. I'll figure it out. I'll call this week and report back here on what they say.

That’s the best move: ring their bell and find out what’s really happening 👍
I have no parts to order yet, but when I do I’ll call them.
-
If I can get some pcp parts, you can bet I'll have a shopping list!
-
Guys,
Y'all can STILL GET Crosman parts.......just not from Crosman.......
Gotta go thru an authorized Service Station.
Pricing should NOT change........
-
So follow this list ? I do recognise many names. https://www.crosman.com/service-centers/

BTSOM.......give then a call..........
-
Ron, thanks for the chuckle.
I have already sent an email requesting an UPDATE on my order. I got no REPLY. [Big surprise!]
I did see someplace that Crosman was requesting patience because they were shorthanded and unable to answer all phone calls and emails. Patience is wearing thin though. :(

Hi Mike.
I sense a rumbling in the force ! ;)
Best Wishes - Tom

Hi Tom - it is good to hear from you. I thought maybe you had evacuated because of the fires up your way.
Yeah, the force is not with me right now. But on the bright side, I don't plan to use the Marauder .25 until September.
Stay COOL my friend. ;)

Hi Mike.
I'm lucky, the 3 big forest fires here in Minnesota are up a little past Duluth and well north on my place.
Good luck with Crosman - Tom
-
Happy for you but sad for those folks up north.
Thanks for the good luck wishes.

The fires are pretty bad.
One woman who is raising her 2 grandchildren, lost her home of 40 years.
All she has in one change of clothes for each one of them.
She is a widower. She and her husband built the place with their own hands as their dream home in the woods.
He passed away around 8 years ago.
She has no idea how to deal with it all.
Best Wishes - Tom

I looked at the "service center" website. It shows red locations on the map when you search a certain area. Are these the places that sell parts or do they just sell crosman products?
Thx
Ray
-
Until this recent Gamo mandated policy change, Service Centers mainly handled repairs.
Now they will be called upon to sell those parts that Crosman will not sell direct.
Call any of them with your restricted parts needs. They can purchase from Crosman
then ship to you. Pricing should be the same as if you purchased direct, but
that may up to the discretion of the SC.
I am not sure about direct shipping.........
-
Ron, what do you mean by "restricted parts"??
Thanks

Internal parts for break barrel and PCP airguns.......
-
How’s that going to effect the availability of Crosman gas rams?
