Title: Crosman barrel steel ?

I've looked and would like to know what steel is used to make the Crosman barrels.. just curious is all.

See.s the steel for the tubes has changed at some point, older 1322 tubes are tougher so I'd suspect the barrel steel has also went softer.

Can't find an email for crosman or I'd send them one..

As far as I know they use 1018/1020 steel, but don't take my word on that.
