Title: Air Compressor repair
Post by: GPeach on May 05, 2025, 01:07:42 PM
Good day all!
I have a spritech portable air compressor, which I believe you call a shoebox. I have a Benjamin Akela 22 cal.
As I was filling the tank, I heard a very loud POP! I changed out the little brass colored disk that's located above the air line bleed screw. It was shaped like a tophat so, I changed it. This happened once before and it worked. But, this time it did not work. I can't get any pressure at all. Could it be the check valve? Where is that located?
BTW, the motor sounds strong. No problems there.
Also, how do I find a repair shop?
Thanks,

GPeach
