I just re-sealed this for a friend. Sears.Roebuck and Co. version of the Crosman 130. Model number 126.19340
This is a self cocker.
It was slightly rusty and non functioning. De-greased the old hard grease out of it and discovered that it was missing part of the valve, so I'm not the first one to get inside this one.
Rear sight was missing and I couldn't track one down, so made up one out of some brass sheet, it will probably need fine tuning for height.....
The build quality was very solid, the barrel is one piece constant diameter, the barrel band is all steel, hollow probe bolt, brass trigger and the grips are wrap around style.
I removed the rust and did a light re-blue, still looks old....
Seems like a strong shooter, don't have a chrony.
Kind of interesting in that the barrel is not exactly parallel to the tube, the 3/32 gap created at the front by the barrel band tapers to nothing at the rear where the breach bolt cinches the two together. Looked at the EVP and there is no spacer between the one piece bull barrel and the tube.
Had a very small transfer port and had difficulty getting it to seal so made a more modern version with some brass tube and vinyl tubing.

Very cool. What year do you think that beauty is? Nice job fixing her up.

The 130 was made in 1953-54 I believe, so I imagine this is the same age.
I've got a Montgomery Ward version I'm working on now, will post pics of that one when done too.
