Title: Sheridan Fan

I grew up on a Sheridan Model C - Silver Streak built about 1951 and I recently picked up a standard Streak, trying to learn if I can find their date of manufacture.

I acquired my Silver Streak from my father, as he and the neighborhood "boys" all had their respective BB guns in the early 50's, one kid had the Grand Poobah of BB/Pellet guns, the Silver Streak!

When I was about 9, my father called his old friend and asked him if he still had the gun and if he would part with it.  As he never had kids to pass it down to, he sold it to my father.  I received it on a snowy Christmas morn (yup, just like the movie) and it's been a great and faithful weapon ever since!

Welcome to the Forums Chip!  Gotta love those Streaks. Blue or Silver, that was the one that every kid wanted.  I know how much I love my old blue streak squeeze thumb fire. Even having fallen down the deep dark rabbit hole of the Pcp world . I still take it out to put the thump on the marauding tree rats a couple times a month.

I just got another Dan a couple weeks ago. Had one when I was a teenager that was stolen a few decades later. So welcome Chip.
