Does anybody here know how to do “gymnastics” with a BB revolver?
…and is a metal BB revolver about the same weight as a “live” one?
Based on the specs, it seems not far off as far as weight is concerned ???
So, I have always been fascinated by it, telling myself I’d like to learn it everytime I see one doing it, then I tend forget it after short while ???
Just saw a portion of Kirk Douglas’s Man Without a Star so I’m reminded again 👍

Scott sir, I have no intention of using a real revolver, just an unloaded BB one 👍
It looks something I’d like to learn when summer comes 🥴

It's not the weight that matters. It's the balance. Watch the Ringo/Doc scene from Tombstone.

The size of the trigger guard makes a difference too. A little weight doesn’t hurt. My Crosman 357’s are hard to spin and I think it’s because they are so light. The Umarex 357 has a nice big trigger guard, a realistic weight, and good balance. It spins easily. I liked the Colt Peacmaker replica I handled. It was biased toward the muzzle and should spin nicely. I also think the Remington 1875 would be a good choice. Single action replicas with smaller grips should also be a bit easier to spin.

The Peacemaker is close to the real thing.

The umarex colt SAA is close, but one issue that you might not think matters is the grip being longer to fit a co2 cartridge.

Thank you, gents, for the inputs.
I’ll look into those 👍

Just be aware there are two flavors, a bb and a .177 pellet. I have the pellet version.
