Very nice rifle. I picked up one like it recently & it is getting overhauled. I might put a scope & mount on it.

Bought a new BlueStreak in 1980. Wish I went with Silver back then, but thought it would be too shiny for hunting.
Rebuilt on 11-21-2016 using Mac1 kit(new pump cup and valve seals) also added the Mac1 adjustable piston rod and steel end plug. Added the globe front sight somewhere along the line.

Mike Baker has a rather well used looking SS for sale in the member’s classifieds right now.  I was tempted but I think I’d like one that is in better cosmetic condition.

In all honesty, I have a Blue Streak that is in better shape.. near mint.. Thanks to Avator.
But this old SS is just so fun to shoot..
Back in the '70's I was a "tried and true" Benjamin guy...  my I love my 342's but the 'Dan's have a good reputation for a reason.

Rarely do I find one Sheridan to be inferior to another . I see that in a lot of other air rifles. I can shoot several different Sheridans in a row, & not be able to tell any differences .

The Blue Streak I bought from Steve is doing very well indeed. Really sad that manufacturing in general keeps moving more towards high volume, less stringent quality and consistency, more bells and whistles but less value. I'll take old with simple but necessary traits/features over new and belledwhistled to the nth degree trendy fashions any day.

Automakers especially!

Well, I guess that makes this "Sylvia's Mother" since she bares the same name and is much older.

Somehow "old dog and new tricks" come to mind...  ;) At least I know how to spell Sylvia.   ;D

She's been Sylvia since the day I got her from Steve several years ago.
He e-mailed me, quoted a great price and I hopped on it.
